About me . . .

My name is Patrick. I am a married to Missy. A father of 4. A Jeep enthusiast and a “former” avid mountain biker. I haven’t rode seriously for a number of years now. While talking to a friend the other day, he suggested that I join him in a 50 mile mountain bike race next year. I shrugged it off initially, but it kept resurfacing in the back of my head. I finally decided that it’s something that I needed wanted to do. After talking it over with the wife, I was set. This blog is my attempt to hold myself accountable in training for this race. I have just under a year to train. Along the way I plan on recording my progress as well as whatever else pop’s into my head.
